| After thirty years of experience working with ponds; designing and installing them, diagnosing and curing pond problems, and raising and selling fish, I decided to establish the Living Jewel. There are two main display ponds located in Little Chute, just to the north of the Little Chute water tower on Highway OO. One pond is located behind Jolee Aire Kennel at 311 W. North Ave., and the other is located just behind the grey house at 317 W. North Ave. Little Chute. These ponds were set up for the purpose of comparing a pond in full shade with a pond in full sun. There is also a green house pond as well as a quarantine tank. At the present time we hold well over 400 fish including goldfish, shibumkins, comets, domestic koi, and imported Nishikigoi Koi of various sizes. People call on us for advice on pond care, design and installations of ponds, to purchase kits or supplies as well as purchase livestock such as aquatic plants and fish. |
